Tika did an outstanding job helping us sell a condo and buy another one. When we first met her, she swiftly presented to us a multitude of viable buying options, accompanied us to see them all the next day, and gave invaluable input for each one. She was very prompt and easy to reach at nearly any time of the day, and she maintained professional courtesy at all times. I would highly recommend her to anyone else in search of housing in the South Florida market, which can often be quite daunting without the right help.
We were very fortunate to “bump” into Tika. Tika is certainly the most experienced, responsive, and no-nonsense broker, problem solver, advisor, and communicator. We were successful in both buying and selling a place in the same month in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, FL. We had challenges on the buying and selling side. On the buying side, Tika had to handle a very difficult agent and seller who was probably unhappy with our firm negotiations. On the selling side, she had to deal with a buyer that spoke only French and lived abroad, a real-estate agent that only spoke Spanish, and the issue with us being locked out of our own place preventing move out! She navigated these challenges and more. At one point, the buyer engaged a lawyer who asked us to to sign a lengthy, complicated contract just to hold back $4K due to closing timing. Tika effectively negotiated a much simpler contract both sides could easily understand and with fewer rules on both sides. She even negotiated lower costs for some of the fees with her own company and advised on how to apply for homestead, notarize remotely, etc. She also got us gift cards to fix a fan that was not working — Tika does not sweat the small stuff. I wish Tika were in all my real estate transactions!
